Software
The Huawei P50 operates on HarmonyOS 2.0, Huawei’s proprietary operating system. This OS is designed to provide a seamless and integrated user experience across Huawei’s ecosystem of devices. The device does not include a custom UI layer on top of HarmonyOS.
Hardware
Under the hood, the Huawei P50 is powered by an Octa-core CPU configuration, featuring 1×2.84 GHz Cortex-X1, 3×2.42 GHz Cortex-A78, and 4×1.80 GHz Cortex-A55 cores. It is equipped with the Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888 4G chipset (5 nm) and the Adreno 660 GPU. The device includes 8GB of RAM and offers internal storage options of 128GB or 256GB, with support for expandable storage via a card slot.

Additionally, it features a 12 MP periscope telephoto lens with an f/3.4 aperture, PDAF, OIS, and 5x optical zoom, as well as a 13 MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture. The front camera is a 13 MP wide lens with an f/2.4 aperture. The camera system supports advanced features such as Leica optics, dual-LED flash, panorama, and HDR.
Performance
In terms of performance, the Huawei P50 scores 887,900 on AnTuTu, indicating excellent performance capabilities. For gaming, it supports 90 FPS in both PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty Mobile on smooth settings, making it suitable for high-performance gaming.
