The device measures 164.8 x 76.4 x 8.8 mm and weighs 195 grams. It is available in four colors: Wilderness Black, Luna Blue, Energy Green, and Sunset Gold.

The phone runs on the Android 12 Go edition operating system and features the XOS 10.6 user interface.

The Infinix Hot 20i is powered by an octa-core CPU with four 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 cores and four 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 cores. It uses the MediaTek MT6762G Helio G25 chipset built on a 12 nm process and has a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The device offers 4GB of RAM and comes in two internal storage variants: 64GB and 128GB. It also supports expandable storage via a card slot. Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, fingerprint sensor (rear-mounted), proximity sensor, and gyro.

This phone supports dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual standby) and is compatible with multiple network bands. For 2G, it supports GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. For 3G, it supports HSDPA 900 / 2100. For 4G, it supports LTE bands 1(2100), 3(1800), 5(850), 8(900), 38(2600), 40(2300), and 41(2500). The device does not support 5G.

Display

The Infinix Hot 20i features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels (~267 PPI). The display supports 16 million colors, multitouch, and has a brightness of 500 nits.

Camera

The phone has a triple camera setup on the back, with a 13 MP (f/1.8, wide) main sensor with autofocus, complemented by other unspecified cameras, and a dual LED flash.
