The Federal Constitutional Court (FCC) has officially confirmed its schedule for the 2025 winter holidays. As per the notification issued on Monday, the court will remain closed from December 22, 2025, to January 4, 2026. All routine hearings and activities will resume on January 5, 2026.

Although the court will observe winter vacations, the issued notice makes it clear that the FCC administrative offices will stay operational. Any urgent petitions, time-sensitive matters, or already-fixed cases will continue to be addressed. This ensures that critical legal issues do not face delays despite the holiday period.
Role and Purpose of the Federal Constitutional Court
The Federal Constitutional Court was established through the 27th Constitutional Amendment to strengthen Pakistan’s judicial structure. Its primary responsibilities include:
